A Chemistry Europe egy közösségépítő internetes platform (HUB) elindítását tervezi, ebben a Magyar Kémikusok Egyesülte, mint tulajdonostárs részt kíván venni. Az MKE-hez kapcsolódó feladatok ellátásra keresünk lelkes egyesületi tagot. A feladatok és elvárások, valamint a személyes előnyök a mellékelt dokumentumban olvashatók. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROfiLE: CE HUB COORDINATOR
Career Stage
• Late-stage Master’s or PhD student in chemistry or related scientific fields, preferably with additional experience in science communication
• Early career researcher (within 3-5 years post-PhD)
• Postdoctoral researcher with flexible schedule
Essential Qualifications:
• Active member or strong connection to the national chemistry society
• Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to commit 1-3 hours per week consistently
Key Competencies:
• Community Building: Natural networker who enjoys connecting people and organizations
• Digital Communication: Comfortable creating and promoting content across multiple channels
• Strategic Mindset: Attitude and interest in organizing outreach campaigns
• Organizational Skills: Can manage regular coordination activities alongside research responsibilities
Desirable Attributes:
• Previous experience with student organizations, society committees, or science communication initiatives
• Interest in academic publishing and scholarly communication
• Enthusiasm for promoting European chemistry collaboration
• Multilingual capabilities (beneficial for pan-European context)
• Proficiency in local language for society-specific activities
• Flexibility to travel on a CE Hub-demand basis, including visits to the society headquarters for leadership engagement and attendance at related events
